Perth:
Captain dismissed captain, as Jasprit Bumrah sent Pat Cummins back to the dugout. Cummins followed soon after Marnus Labuschagne’s painful stay at the crease came to an end, being dismissed for 2 runs off 52 balls, leaving Australia six-down in response to India’s first innings total of 150, in the first Test at Perth. Earlier, Bumrah caused havoc at the start, first dismissing Nathan McSweeney, and then Usman Khawaja and Steve Smith in consecutive deliveries. Harshit Rana made his mark, sending Travis Head packing to get his first Test wicket. KL Rahul completed a superb catch at slip to dismiss Mitch Marsh as well. Earlier, India put up 150, thanks largely to a valiant 41 by debutant Nitish Kumar Reddy.
