PANAJI: The Foreigners Registration Office (FRO), Goa, deported four foreign nationals, including three Russian men and a Kenyan woman, to their respective home countries over a period of two days for violating visa regulations.
On November 4, 2026, FRO Goa deported three Russian male nationals who were found overstaying their tourist visas. Of the three, two had been convicted by the court, while the third was lodged at a detention centre.
Earlier, on November 2, a Kenyan woman was deported to her home country following her conviction by a court in a forgery case. She had also entered India on a tourist visa.
Meanwhile, as part of a special drive conducted by FRO Goa at Querim in Pernem on November 4, five foreign nationals were detected overstaying without valid visas.
Those detected included two Russian men, a Russian woman, a Ukrainian woman and her minor son. All of them had entered India on tourist visas.
Their movements have been restricted, and deportation proceedings have been initiated against them, officials said.
The action is part of FRO Goa’s efforts to identify foreign nationals violating visa conditions and initiate appropriate legal and deportation proceedings.
