MARDOL: Mardol police have arrested Pooja Naik for allegedly duping the people under the pretext of providing them government jobs.
As per information, accused lady Shravani alias Pooja Naik alias Rupa Palkar, a resident of Old Goa being an employee at the Secretariat office Porvorim Goa induce the complainant to pay an amount of Rs.7,00,000/- towards giving his son a job as a LDC in Transport Department.
Further in the ongoing LDC recruitment in the Transport Department, he paid an amount of Rs 4,00,000/- through Minu Govind Gaude for the same.
Later on the second occasion, the accused person induce the complainant to pay an amount of Rs. 18,00,000/- towards giving his son a job as a Junior Engineer in the PWD Department in the ongoing Junior Engineer recruitment in the PWD Department.
The complainant paid an amount of Rs 10,00,000/- thereby dishonestly cheated him to a total amount of Rs. 14,00,000/- towards his son’s recruitment.
