ARAMBOL: A 39-yr-old Nepal tourist collapsed and died on Arambol beach near Sweet water lake. The death is likely to be caused due to suspected heart attack.
As per information, the deceased is come to be known as Dipendra Thapa, Age- 39 years, R/o Ward No. 8, Bakhtapur, Sipadol Nepal.
Enquiry revealed that the deceased is a chef by profession working at one resort (name not yet known) in South Goa. Further the deceased is married to a Latvian National lady namely Inta Thapa.
The said Inta Thapa stays along with their son age- 06 years in Europe. On 19/02/2025 Inta Thapa along with her son had come to meet her husband and as such they booked their room at one hotel near sweet lake Arambol.
Further in the afternoon hours, the deceased had gone for a swim on the beach along with his son and after coming back to the shore, while he was playing with his child he suddenly collapsed.
Accordingly informed PI and registered Mandrem PS UD No.12/2025 U/s 194 B.N.S.S. No foul play suspected.
