CANACONA: The 41st All-Religions Prayer Meet, themed “Pormoshvorachea Mogan Ami Ek” (United in God’s Love), will be held on 14th December at the Shri Gaitonde Mini-Sports Complex, bringing together spiritual leaders and followers from diverse faiths to pray for peace, unity and human harmony.
Observed annually, the prayer meet—now in its 37th year—draws participation from preachers and priests representing Christianity, Hinduism, Islam, Buddhism and Jainism. Priests, nuns and members of the Brahmakumaris will lead prayers focused on World Humanism, Unity in World Peace, Unity in Diversity, and messages promoting harmony and integrity across religions.
This year’s theme, “Lead us from darkness unto the light,” reinforces the gathering’s longstanding intention of fostering spiritual togetherness and social unity.
The programme will take place on the second Sunday of December, from 3 pm to 6 pm, and is open to people of all faiths seeking to participate in an evening of collective prayer and reflection.
