PONDA: The election for the Board of Directors for the Goa State Cooperative Milk Producers Union ( Goa Dairy) for the five years period 2022 to 27 is sheduled on 19 June.
The procedure for filing nominations with returning officer of RCS was began on 23 and today 30 May was the last date for filing nominations. 43 candidates have filed their nominations with RCS for 12 member BoD election.
Scrutiny of nominations will be held on 31 May.
For the past three years, the Goa Dairy has been managed by a government-appointed Administrator following the disqualification of seven Board of Directors, including the MD, by RCS.
The RCS took action alleging mismanagement in the affairs of Goa Dairy.
At the same time, the RCS had also dissolved Goa Dairy Board.
Goa Dairy’s five-year tenure of BoDs ended on 7 May this year.
