PANAJI: The Directorate of Health Services (DHS) today informed that 7,246 health workers were vaccinated till today.
DHS also said that the second round of vaccination will begin from February 8.
“7246 health workers were vaccinated till today in the 141 sessions held till now,” DHS said
The DHS also said that most of the health workers across are set to be vaccinated with the Covid-19 vaccine by February 12.
Since we started vaccinating frontline workers from 2nd Feb, a total of 3,70,693 frontline workers have also been covered which is 4.5% of the current database of frontline workers informed Manohar Agnani, Additional Secretary, Union Health Ministry.
Meanwhile, Union Health Secretary Rajesh Bhushan reviewed status & progress of COVID19 vaccination, with states/UTs. They were urged to exponentially increase the pace of vaccination. Beneficiaries of inaugural vaccination day to start getting second dose on 13th February.
