VASCO: 11 people involved in a fight were taken into custody by Mormugao Police after they filed an offence under sections 194(2) BNS.
According to sources, there was a violent conflict on Sunday night at around 8:45 PM at three different locations: the Mormugao Police Station grounds, Baina Beach, and the area outside Ali Scrapyard.
Joshua Rajesh Passi of Mangoor Hill, Mainuddin Irfan Shaikh of Baina, Vishnu Anil Kumar Gaud of the Club Mansion Building, Yeshu Harijan of Baina, Ajay Jallem Chavan of Baina, Sameer Shaikh of Baina, Kutbuddin Shaikh of Mangoor Hill, Anish Yadav of Baina, Ratan Singh of Dabolim, Manoj Yadav of Mangoor Hill, and Basant Gauda Biradar of Mangoor Hill are among the people engaged in the altercation.
Reports state that the gang got into a fistfight, which disrupted public order and violated tranquillity. A number of the participants suffered injuries during the altercation.
All culprits have been arrested and the case is further under investigation by PSI Suraj Naik of Mormugao Police Station.
