OLD GOA: AAP Goa President Amit Palekar today has demanded an investigation into the source of the second video featuring Siddiqui alias Suleman Khan.
“I demand an investigation into the source of the second video featuring Siddiqui alias Suleman Khan,” said Palekar
He further said that BJP used Siddiqui’s 2nd video as a washing machine to clear their names.
“Police should find out the source of 2nd video which was published on social media, it’s evident that Siddiqui is reading a script,” he added
Palekar also said that he is being targetted as my party and him are the biggest hurdles for this government.
“After speaking with my legal team, I plan to ask the High Court to have an impartial organisation conduct a thorough investigation into this incident. Since the accusations are grave and directed at the deputy speaker of SP Crime, DySP, an independent probe is required’, Palekar stated.
He went on to say that he helped the police arrest Suleiman by giving them the footage, but that he is now being persecuted. Palekar stated that the purpose of the entire incident is to fabricate evidence against him and have him arrested.
“In the future, the public won’t come forward to help the police as the thought of getting harassed will be in their mind,” he said.
All this drama doesn’t have to be done by the police. They should go ahead and arrest me if they so choose. The police are attempting to hide both their own shortcomings and the crimes committed by BJP politicians involved in the land grab scheme. The BJP is in charge of this probe,” Palekar claimed.
Speaking on the latest video of Suleiman, Palekar said, “The latest video in which Suleiman makes accusations against me, it is clearly seen that the accused is reading a statement as he has worn a reading glass. It can be clearly made out that the accused is told to read the statement.”
Palekar then demanded that those who released the latest video of Suleiman should also be investigated.
“As we are being investigated for releasing the first video to the public, the one who released the latest video should also be investigated,” he demanded.
