PANAJI: With different concepts like skill India, Make in India, many youngsters benefit from the Prime Minister Employment Generation Programme.
“My dream is to ensure that our Goan youth avail its benefits. If youth acquire skills and are ready to take risks, then only one can succeed. Various Departments of the Goa Government are prepared to help them,” said Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant.
He was speaking at the webinar on the Prime Minister Employment Generation Programme organised by CMO Goa and Directorate of Industries today.
He further said that our Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, started Atmanirbhar Bharat during this pandemic to enhance skill development and develop self-employment.
“With this, he showed the dream of creating ‘Nav Bharat’ to youngsters. Goa Government has started Swayampurna Goa under the Atmanirbhar Bharat Campaign. Under Swayampurna Goa, Swayampurna Mitras are visiting Panchayats, providing guidance to the people on various aspects,” he stated.
Director, Directorate of Industries, Trade, and commerce Ms. Geeta Joshi, Mukul Agarwal Chief Manager of State Bank of India Ajay Gramopadhyay, businessmen were also present for the webinar.
Ajay Gramopadhyay gave a detailed description of the Prime Minister Employment Generation Programme.
Mukul Agarwal gave insights into the evaluation process done by the bank for the said program.
