PANAJI: In accordance with COVID-19 appropriate behaviour and norms, the department of women and child welfare will restart anganwadis across the state from July 1.
“In accordance with Covid appropriate behaviour and norms, we have decided to restart all Anganwadis in the state from July 1, 2022,” said Minister Vishwajit Rane
He further said that his department shall keep a strict vigil and also ensure that a doctor conducts regular visits to these anganwadis for thorough monitoring.
The decision to restart Anganwadis has been done in consultation with the Ministry of Women & Child Development, Government of India
Anganwadis have been closed since the inception of Covid-19.
