PANAJI: The highly anticipated Table Tennis Tournament Calendar season is set to kick off from June 8 to 10, 2024, with the Panjim Gymkhana’s Angley’s Table Tennis Team Championship, in collaboration with the Goa Table Tennis Association.
On the lines of the elite Ultimate Table Tennis (UTT) championship of the TTFI, this three-day event at Panjim Gymkhana will feature an exciting format of 5 matches per tie, including Veterans (40 & above) Doubles, Women’s Singles, Men’s Singles, Junior (U19) Boys Singles, and Mixed Doubles.
Each team, consisting of 5 players, will compete in a round-robin league format against other teams from the Group, with the best four teams qualifying for the Semi Finals. Relaunched after a few years break, the Angley’s Team Championship will introduce the UTT format to Goa for the first time, promising an entertaining and competitive platform for players to hone their skills and build team spirit ahead of the ranking tournaments.
