Anjuna: The villagers of Anjuna, local hoteliers and club owners marched to the police station on Saturday over the outsiders playing loud music everyday.
The locals complained that the outsiders or non-Goans running restaurants and shacks play music everyday and taking away business from the locals.
Speaking to Goemkarponn, a shack owner said that there is a unwritten agreement between all shack and restaurant owners to play music only once a week.
However, “the outsiders, who have taken shacks and restaurants on lease want to play music everyday.”
“First of all we do not have enough tourists this year and in lockdown we have been severely hit and the outsiders are further denting our prospects,” he said.
The local villagers, club owners and restaurant owners are all upset with the non-Goans carrying out business without following rules.
