PANAJI: Days after Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) were caught in an extortion scam, Goa Forward Party (GFP) demanded the DGP disclose their identities.
“Disclose their identities. Why’re you not naming the extortionists who’ve disgraced Goa Police and ruined Goa’s reputation,” said Vijai.
He further questioned whether this was operation Dr Pramod Sawant or BJP enterprise and that these officers were sent on deputation to work for them.
Goa Police’s Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) were caught in an extortion scam, prompting Director General of Police Jaspal Singh to order a high-level probe.

The incident is believed to have occurred in the office of an online gaming company in Salcete, where the civil-clothed men identified themselves as ATS personnel from Panaji.
