Police said they received a call from the Panaji Police Control Room at around 10:04 am about the incident. Police said they received a call at around 5:18 pm from 108 ambulance staff informing that Claristo Pinto, a resident of Hotel Colva Plaza at Per Seraulim, Colva, had hanged himself using a cloth dupatta tied to a metal hook on the wall.
