The complaint was lodged by Hiru Gauns, a resident of the village, who stated that unknown persons gained entry into his house by breaking open a side door. The culprits allegedly decamped with gold and silver ornaments, an iron, a shoulder bag, and cash amounting to ₹50,000. Police have registered the offence, and further investigation is being carried out by PSI Sagar Kamat of Margao Police Station.
