Team Goemkarponn MARGAO: Margao police are investigating a case of house break-in and theft reported from Sao Jose de Areal in Salcete. The complaint was lodged by Hiru Gauns, a resident of the village, who stated that unknown persons gained entry into his house by breaking open a side door. The culprits allegedly decamped with gold and silver ornaments, an iron, a shoulder bag, and cash amounting to ₹50,000.
