According to police, accused Jayu Gaonkar, a resident of Shivsorem, Rivona, allegedly drew and installed a live electric wire from her house’s power board around her property to prevent trespassing. On the night of August 27, before 10 pm, Rajendra Gaonkar and Mohandas Gaonkar, both residents of Pandevsada, Rivona, came into contact with the live wire while returning home with grass for their cattle. Team Goemkarponn PANAJI: An unidentified man, estimated to be around 50 years old, was found lying unconscious at the Panaji bus stand and later declared dead at Goa Medical College, Bambolim. According to police, the man was shifted to GMC casualty by an EMRI 108 ambulance, where doctors declared him “brought dead” under MLC No. 25/7743. The incident was reported to Panaji Police Station on August 29 at 4.12 pm. A case has been registered as Panaji PS UD No. 74/2025 under Section 194 of BNSS.
