Team Goemkarponn PANAJI: Cable operators have approached the High Court challenging an order issued by the Electricity Department, which mandates each operator to pay ₹30 lakh towards the use of electricity poles for laying cables. In their plea, the operators have sought to set aside the department’s directive, calling the charge arbitrary and financially burdensome.
