Team Goemkarponn MARGAO: Along with illegally stopping and parking on the main road near the Old Market Circle-Margao KTC bus stop, Transport Department (Enforcement) officials took action against an interstate bus of for carrying unauthorized goods. When a group of RTO officials reached the location, they boarded the interstate bus as it was getting goods out of the car. RTO officials insisted that, aside from passenger bags, it is unlawful to transport goods on interstate buses. According to sources, the RTO has made the decision to notify other interstate buses about the limitations on the vehicles’ ability to transport goods.
