Vasco: Vasco MLA Krishna Salkar has emphasized the urgent need to develop the Mormugao Port Authority (MPA) Ground at Baina, which is currently in a dilapidated condition. Team Goemkarponn PANAJI: Goa State Pharmacy Council (GSPC) has warned to suspend or cancel the registration of such pharmacists who were found advertising discounts on medicines through signboards or social media. “Council has received complaints that some of the owners of medical stores put boards at conspicuous place/s at their premises and also through social media to offer discounts to attract consumers/patients for purchase of medicines from them,” said GSPC in a press statement. Additionally, the government has directed area officers to inspect meat sold by vendors every day to make sure it comes from approved slaughterhouses with legitimate paperwork.
