Team Goemkarponn PORVORIM: Porvorim police have charged a Bengaluru man with defrauding a Porvorim woman out of Rs 9.68 lakh by pretending to give her daughter a Canada visa so she could study overseas. According to police investigations, the event happened sometime between August and September 2024 when the accused, B P Manikanta, would visit the casino and the complainant, a manager there, happened to see him.
