The deceased, identified as Avadhoot Pandurang Jadhav, originally from Kolhapur, was driving his Skoda Rapid car when he lost control and crashed into a tree on the left side of the road. He sustained serious injuries and was being shifted to South Goa District Hospital (SGDH), Margao, in a 108 ambulance when he succumbed to his injuries.
