Speaking to reporters, Shirodkar said that severe warnings had been given and that anyone found guilty would face fines of between Rs 5 lakh and Rs 10 lakh. “In Chimbel, some people have dug illegal borewells. There are between 60 and 70 of these borewells, according to the information.
