The mother, aged 37 years and her eight-year-old daughter were swimming in the sea, when they drifted deeper into the water. Seeing them in distress, their friend, a 41-year-old Russian male, swam in their direction in order to assist their return to the shore, but he too was pulled deeper by the strong current. New Delhi: Apple Inc.’s iPhone exports from India jumped by a third in the six months through September, underscoring its push to expand manufacturing in the country and reduce dependence on China.
