Goemkarponn Desk PANAJI: Goa government today has increased subsidy to clay idol makers from Rs 100 per idol to Rs 200 per idol for a maximum of 250 numbers of Idols for the first 388 artisans. GHRSSIDC Managing Director Ajay Gaude said that the artisans will have to submit an undertaking that these idols have been actually produced by him and not brought from outside the state. Goemkarponn Desk PANAJI: High Court has quashed Goa government’s circular dated 30 January 2024, which exempted music played at weddings from copyright infringement action under the Copyright Act. The High Court further clarified about that ‘bonafide religious ceremony’ mentioned in circular that it must be determined on a case-to-case basis. Mumbai: One 97 Communications Limited, which owns the Paytm brand, on Wednesday said it will sell entertainment ticketing business to Zomato for Rs 2,048 crore.
