The alarming rise in reported rape cases in Goa is deeply distressing and demands immediate attention and action. While Goa has been viewed as a safe destination for women, the reality revealed through the increasing number of rape cases is troubling. According to government-provided data, there have been 217 rape cases reported in the last three years in Goa.
