PANJIM: Union Minister for AYUSH (Independent Charge) has informed that his office at Paryatan Bhavan Patto, Panjim, will remain closed till August 16 and will  resume its normal functioning from Monday the 17th August. Naik along with his wife were tested postive for COVID-19 on Wednesday. “I underwent Covid-19 test today & it has turned out assymptomaically positive. My vitals are within normal limits and I have opted for home isolation,” he said. In a highest single day spike Goa registered 570 new cases on Thursday with 271 new recoveries and two deaths. The death toll in the State has reached 91. Goa also crossed 10000-mark as it is currently has 10494 confirmed cases. The active cases now are 3491 and recoveries are 6912.
