Sources said that the incident occurred at around 11 pm on an internal road in Vasco opposite the St Andrews church. Goemkapronn desk PANAJI: Gujarat Crime Branch has arrested two persons from Goa for allegedly smuggling of liquor worth Rs 50.40 lakh. The liquor consignment on its way from Goa to Rampura village of Godhra, Gujarat was seized on March 9. Francis D’souza from Navelim and Manish Mishra from Saligao were arrested by Gujarat Crime Branch on March 19 from Goa. Francis has several wine shops while Manish owns a distillery informed Gujarat Police. Both have been remanded to policy custody till March 26. The liquor was allegedly bottled using a ghost brand named ‘Royal Blue.’
