Moscow: Despite the years-long war between Russia and Ukraine, Moscow and Kiev worked separately for a common cause – to manufacture an Indian Navy warship, which was handed over to New Delhi on Monday when Defence Minister Rajnath Singh arrived in Moscow for a top-level visit. New Delhi: Shaktikanta Das will demit office today after completing six years as the 25th Governor of the Reserve Bank of India. He was appointed as the Governor on December 12, 2018, after the abrupt exit of Urjit Patel. New Delhi: The ‘Made-In-India’ coaches of India’s first high-speed train to run between Mumbai and Ahmedabad, will undergo testing at India’s first climatic laboratory to be set up at the Integral Coach Factory, Chennai. The testing will happen in 2026, ahead of the train’s debut in the Gujarat section of the high-speed corridor. Rs 173 crore will be spent on the exercise, documents with CNN-NEWS18 show. The high-speed train coaches would run at the speed of 250-280 km/hr, and require such intense testing in a climatic laboratory. New Delhi: Revenue Secretary Sanjay Malhotra has been appointed Governor of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). He will take charge from Wednesday for three years, the government said in a statement. Mr Malhotra is a 1990-batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer from the Rajasthan cadre. He is a Computer Science graduate from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, and has a Master’s in Public Policy from Princeton University, US.
