CANDOLIM: The Candolim Panchayat Football Academy, in collaboration with Super30 Football Academy, organised its Jersey Kit Distribution Ceremony 2026 at Dr Gustavo Monteiro Stadium, Candolim, on Saturday.
Amalina Dias, Deputy Sarpanch of Village Panchayat Candolim, attended the ceremony as the Chief Guest. The organisers also acknowledged the continued support of Salvador Blaize Fernandes, Sarpanch of Village Panchayat Candolim, towards promoting grassroots football and encouraging young sporting talent.
The initiative aims to provide young footballers with opportunities to develop their sporting abilities while promoting teamwork, discipline and community participation.
The organisers said the programme goes beyond the distribution of sports kits and reflects a collective effort to build a stronger football culture in Candolim. They highlighted the importance of support from the village panchayat, parents, coaches and well-wishers in nurturing young players.
The collaboration between the two football academies is expected to encourage greater participation in the sport and provide a platform for children to pursue their football ambitions.
The organisers reiterated their commitment to empowering local youth through sports and creating opportunities for the next generation of footballers.
