The department has invited applications for allotment of 2 more shacks each at Morjim, Mandrem, Arambol and Keri for tourist season 2023-26. Applications are to be submitted at GEL counter at Paryatan Bhavan, Patto, Panaji from Jan 16 to Jan 20. Draw of lots to allot the shacks would be held on Jan 25. As on date 353 shacks have been allotted by the dept, 255 in North Goa and 98 in South Goa.
