Pernem, following complaints by students over disallowing Saraswati Puja in the college Melo has been repatriated to his parent institution St. Xavier’s College Mapusa with immediate effect in public interest. Sources says the said decision had been taken after Melo had denied students from performing Saraswati puja on campus.
