Goemkapronn desk PANAJI: Goa Waste Management Corporation (GWMC) has withdrawn the tender for the Design, Engineering, and Development of “Waste to Art Park” at the existing Bhagwan Mahavir Balvihar Art Park at Campal, Panaji. “The tender stands cancelled/withdrawn with immediate effect. GWMC shall process the refund of Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) at the earliest,” states the notice issued in this regard today. Artists and concerned citizens had expressed displeasure over the manner in which the Rs 8.92 crore ‘Waste to Art Park’ project had been proposed.

Goemkarponn desk BELAGAVI: The Karnataka Authorities have blamed the Goa Government for the pathetic condition of the Goa-Belagavi Chorla road for the delay in handing over possession of the Ghat section to the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI).
