As per the information, the accused husband has been identified as Tyofil Lakara, who is 43 years old. A 48-year-old woman from Chattisgarh was murdered allegedly by her own husband at Bhanastari. Ponda police have arrested 43-year-old Tyofil Lakara from Chhattisgarh for allegedly strangulating his wife, Melo Lakara, leading to her death. She was shifted to PHC Betki, Ponda, where she was brought dead. Doctors have confirmed that strangulation was the cause of death.
