Goemkarponn desk PONDA: The Ponda Municipal Council (PMC) today, at the hands of Agriculture Minister Ravi Naik, inaugurated the 1.5 tonnes per day (TPD) capacity garbage treatment plant at its site at Keriya Khandepar with the support of the Goa State Urban Development Agency (GSUDA). The cost of the facility is around Rs 90 lakhs. Each of the three machines can treat 500 kg of wet garbage. Minister Ravi Naik assured to provide all the cooperation for the development of the City. Goemkarponn desk VASCO: Mormugao Municipal Council (MMC), led by Chairperson Leo Rodrigues and city ward councillor Shami Salkar, Girish Borker and staff, including market inspectors, conducted a surprise anti encroachment drive in the Vasco market.
