PANJIM: : Ponda Police have arrested five persons for forming for possessing arms by brandishing swords during a birthday celebration at the Goa Dairy, Curti on Saturday. The police on Sunday arrested 38-year-old Firoz Mohammad Khoya, a St Cruz, Ponda resident and 18-year-old Sahabaz Bijapuri from Curti, Ponda. However, the police are yet to recover the sword used during birthday celebration. The Health Bulletin on Sunday said that a 50 year old male from Chorao, Tiswadi, admitted at ESI COVID Hospital, Margao, with co-morbid conditions expired yesterday, 84 years female from New Vaddem-Vasco, admitted at ESI COVID Hospital, Margao with co-morbid conditions expired today. 77 years male from Barbath, Taleigao, admitted at Goa Medical College, Bambolim, expired yesterday.
