A total 32 people, including five jail guards have tested positive for COVID19, at the Colvale Central jail. One of the jail guard who was ill since Aug 2 and was reporting on duty had tested positive for Covid on Aug 13. All inmates and officials at the jail were tested for Covid infection after that. 415 swab samples of colvale central Jail staff and inmates have been collected and tested for Covid 19 out of which five jail guards and twenty eight prisoners tested Covid positive.
