The Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (GBSHSE) has introduced Mathematics Level 2 for Class X for the current academic year. The Academic Council of the Board during its meeting held in February, decided to introduce the subject. “The syllabus of Mathematics level 2 is same as that of Level 1, only question paper will be different with difficulty level of the questions on lower side,” GBSHE said in the circular issued to all Secondary Schools. Goan-based Redcar hospital today launched the human trials of COVAXIN trials with two volunteers being given the vaccine this morning. BJP leader Bhavesh Jambhaulikar and Shiven Naik were amongst first two volunteers in Goa for human trial for “Covaxin”, vaccine developed by Bharat Biotech. PORVORIM: Under pressure from the teachers association, the state government has finally withdrawn its earlier order directing teaching and non teaching staff to resume duties. The faculty can now work from home til July 31 until further order. Directorate of Education (DoE) on Saturday has issued a circular saying that teaching/non teaching staff should work from home and should not be called to schools/institutions unnecessarily. The circular is based on direction issued by Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) dated July 6.
