Acting on a tip-off, officers seized liquor worth several lakhs of rupees, two trucks, and 29 vehicle registration number plates from various states believed to have been used to transport illicit consignments. During the raid, police found 510 cartons containing 12 bottles each of 750ml liquor and 148 cartons carrying 40 bottles each of 180ml. The proposed changes, part of a new Civil Aviation Requirement (CAR), seek to strengthen air travellers’ rights and ensure greater accountability from airlines.
