Team Goemkarponn Panaji: The Directorate of Fisheries, Government of Goa, has invited quotations for hiring fishing canoes on an hourly basis to strengthen coastal patrolling and prevent illegal fishing activities along the State’s shoreline. According to the Directorate, the hired canoes will be deployed at five identified coastal locations — Arambol and Calangute in North Goa, and Benaulim, Baina and Talpona in South Goa.
