PANAJI: Goa Pradesh Congress Committee (GPCC) today has said that the Backyard of the Secretariat Complex turned into a Scrapyard of unused cars, reflecting collapsed Administration.
“The Backyard of Secretariat Complex turned into a Scrapyard of unused Cars ” reflects collapsed Administration. These vehicles gathering dust block prime space in the precinct of Assembly Complex compelling visitors to park their vehicles outside & walk a long distance,” said Congress.
The Congress has also urged the state government to remove all these vehicles and create space for parking vehicles for those attending the upcoming Legislative Assembly Session.
“Government must also act on unused Cars parked across Goa blocking prime parking spots & causing inconvenience to the public,” it said.
According to the chief minister, discussions were also held on formulating policies and schemes during the meeting.
The Goa Legislative Assembly’s budget session is scheduled to occur between March 27 and 31. Sawant said the exact date of presenting the budget is yet to be decided.
Sawant on Thursday held pre-budget consultations with the industry players and various organisations, including the Goa Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI), Trade and Tourism Association of Goa (TTAG), and liquor dealers in the petroleum business and others.
