PORVORIM: Goa Assembly Speaker Ganesh Gaonkar on Friday stated that the Mirabag Bandara issue has already been taken up with the state government, and a presentation will be made to the local villagers to address their concerns.
Chief Minister Pramod Sawant added that he has personally discussed the matter with the local sarpanch, highlighting the government’s efforts to engage directly with the community.
The move comes in the wake of recent protests in the Assembly visitors’ gallery, ensuring that the voices of the affected villagers are heard while the project continues.
