PANAJI: The High Court of Bombay at Goa has asked Shripad Alias Paresh Sinai Sawardekar, the car driver involved in the horrific Banastari bridge accident case to approach the trial court for seeking permission to leave the state.
As per the conditions of his bail he is not permitted to leave the state without the permission of the trial court. He had petitioned the High Court in this regards.
“The Applicant is permitted to withdraw the present application and to approach the Trial Court for permission to leave the State of Goa. If such an application is filed, the Trial Court shall consider it on its own merit and decide it as early as possible,” states the Court order.
On August 6 last year, three lives were lost in a horrific accident reported on approach road of the Banastarim bridge when a speeding Mercedes car rammed into oncoming traffic.
