Panaji: In a scathing attack, Congress leader Girish Chodankar on Tuesday said that BJP has shattered of losing the Hindu Religion monopolistic Franchise and hence once again trying to use the ‘Hindu’ card for survival. He was reacting to the statement of Goa CM Dr. Pramod Sawant attacking Rahul Gandhi for insulting Hindus.
“Habitual of twisting the statements and stooping low for power, BJP leaders who have lost the faith of people of the country has once again started using the ‘Hindu’ card to divide our ‘Hindustan’,” Chodankar said.
BJP leaders, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, criticised Rahul Gandhi over his speech of Rahul Gandhi in Lok Sabha.
“Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who has lost even confidence in his leadership after Lok Sabha results, along with his other ministers tried to twist the statement of Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi, who cannot insult Hindus,” Chodankar said.
“BJP leaders including the PM were rattled and shattered yesterday during the powerful speech of Rahul Gandhi. They realised that the BJP was losing self-proclaimed monopolies franchisee of the Hindu religion. They were devastated after Rahulji showed an image of Lord Shiva in the parliament by exposing every single lie of BJP, its leaders and Government systematically,” Congress leader Chodankar pointed out.
“Rahul Gandhi was talking about the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party, not Hindus in general,” he said.
“Now, BJP leaders should at least steer themselves and stop dividing the nation for political gains,” he said.
