Addressing a press conference at Congress House in Panjim in the presence of Congress President Amit Patkar, Leader of Opposition Yuri Alemao, South Goa MP Capt. Viriato Fernandes and Aldona MLA Adv. Carlos Ferreira appealed to Goans to maintain communal harmony.
Congress Party will always remain with the Goans to protect the Environment, Cultivable Lands, Hills, Rivers and Heritage, Dr Anjali Nimbalkar said.
Today, the BJP Government has turned out to be the Destroyer of Goa with rapid mass land conversions and hill cuttings. BJP is promoting Land and Real Estate Mafia, claimed Dr Anjali Nimbalkar.
It is certain now that Subhash Velingkar who made irresponsible statements is shielded by Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant. There is every possibility that he is hiding at the Chief Minister’s residence, said Dr. Anjali Nimbalkar.
Congress Party is against communal divide and hatred among various communities. Congress’s ideology is to keep everyone united, Dr. Anjali Nimbalkar stated.
Congress leaders in Goa are taking up all issues concerning Goa and Goans and we will not allow BJP to impose their dictatorial agenda on Goans, she assured the Goans.
