PANAJI: The Goa Police has launched the “Fit Goa Police” program, aiming to enhance the overall health and wellbeing of its personnel.
This initiative seeks to improve productivity, reduce lifestyle-related diseases, and ensure officers are fit and focused to handle their duties efficiently.
For this Goa Police has introduced 5 BMI machines under the Fit Goa Police initiative, sponsored by Vianaar Homes through CSR program.
These machines will help monitor the health of our personnel, with personalized fitness advice.
The program will routinely evaluate staff members’ health using donated BMI monitors and provide tailored lifestyle advice. This program, which is a part of a larger effort to promote a culture of fitness, shows how committed the Goa Police are to establishing a healthy work environment.
IGP Omvir Singh and Kumar underlined the vital significance of employee wellbeing, listing increased output and a decrease in lifestyle illnesses as major goals. The program’s mainstays are frequent BMI checks and fitness instruction.
