PANAJI: The Directorate of Agriculture is organizing Buyer-Seller-Meet of Agriculture produce Raw & Value added for South Goa District on November 30 and December 1, 2024 starting 10.00 am at Krishi Vigyan Kendra South, Margao.
Buyer — Seller meet is an event that connects buyers and sellers from various industries. This meet mostly focus on organic products. It helps to connect organic product suppliers with buyers, promoting trade and commerce in the organic sector.
The event will showcase various Agriculture products, including Rice, Cereals, Pulses, Vegetables, Fruit and value added products from farmers there will be approximately 60 stalls from various zones of South Goa District.
Buyers will get an opportunity to check the quality of the produce, to assess the availability of the quantity, discuss the business terms, etc. The seller will be able to interact with stakeholders, FPOs, Certification Agencies, FPC from nearby states.
There will be a Seminar on understanding Organic Farming, Conservation of Biodiversity with reference to Branding and Marketing, digital market and E-Commerce, Demonstration and experience sharing on Natural Farming, Supply Chain Management, Value addition in Organic Produce, FPO- Concept Management, IP and Startup Progressive Farmers will share their experience on Organic Farming.
There will be a Display and sale of organic products and produce.
