PORVORIM: The suspension of a confirmed teacher who was purportedly involved in the alleged assault of a fourth-grade kid at a Camurlim primary school has been accepted by the State government.
Following the teacher and management hearings, Shailesh Zingde, the Director of Education, gave his approval for the regular teacher involved in the incident to be suspended.
“The suspension order was issued a long time after the two were suspended by the school administration. According to process, the management had asked for my clearance, which was given in less than 15 days, Zingde stated.
Since the normal teacher had been in custody for more than 48 hours following her arrest, the suspension was required. Since the second instructor had a contract with the school, the management decided to terminate her employment, Zingde stated.
Sujal Gawade and Kanisha Gadekar, two instructors, were taken into custody on charges of abusing a nine-year-old kid.
According to reports, the child had been hit with a ruler and had many injuries, including cuts, bruises, and blood clots.
