CANACONA: Canacona police booked a Royal Enfield Rider for outraging the modesty of a woman by passing abusive and sexually coloured remarks against a Lady in Canacona.
According to Canacona police, a lady lodged a complaint that a Rider of a Royal Enfield said abusive language against her saying ‘Fuck’ thereby outraging her modesty and also passed sexually coloured remarks against her and further threatened her with dire consequences.
The incident took place on 10th Sept at around 1 pm in the afternoon time in the jurisdiction of Canacona police station.
After registering the complaint on Tuesday (17/09/2024), the unnamed accused was booked by Canacona police under section 75 (3), 79, 351 (2) of BNS 2023 and the accused further served upon a Notice under section 35/3 BNSS, accordingly.
Further investigation is carried out by PSI Vishal L Velip of Canacona police station.
