CANACONA: In a narcotics crackdown, Canacona Police arrested a man allegedly found in possession of MDMA and LSD during a raid conducted on February 24 at Kindlebag, Tarir in Canacona.
According to a complaint filed by PSI Ramdas Doifode of Canacona Police Station, the raid was carried out between 12.16 pm and 1.58 pm based on specific and reliable information.
During the operation, the accused, identified as Subu Panwar, a resident of Ourem, Canacona, originally from Uttarakhand, was allegedly caught red-handed with 6.35 grams of MDMA and seven LSD blots weighing 0.15 grams.
The seized narcotic substances are collectively valued at approximately ₹84,500. Police said the accused had allegedly come to deliver the drugs to prospective customers.
Panwar has been placed under arrest in connection with the case.
Further investigation is being conducted by PSI Rajshekhar Reddy of Canacona Police Station.
